Earthquake update.

We are open and operating.

For term 4 2011, we have a policy that no activity will take any client or staff member into an area that would not have been completely safe during any of the earthquakes we have experienced since 2010.

In practice, this means that we are not running the Gebbies Pass tramp, Cave abseil or Coasteering as they all experienced rock fall. We have also closed the waterfall abseil and Big rock abseil as a precaution.

All these activities are integrated into programmes tailored for the age of the participants. Our instructors are experienced at matching the activity with any age or expectation
