The Quest Encourages groups of adults and students to work together to solve problems Uses imagination, resourcefulness and dramatic play. Captures and extends children's interest using multiple learning styles Maxamises laughter and fun Orton Bradley Park is transformed into Wilderland. An old locked wooden box at the campsite could provide the key to the Quest. A CD soundtrack warns that the evil Saruman has put a spell on the Guardian of the Forest. Without the help of everyone to collect the potions and find the keys to unlock the box with the recipe, the forest is doomed for sure. First each one of the groups must make as much money as they can by completing group and individual challenges. After an hour or so each group has a healthy bank balance which they use to buy clues. Each clue leads to another as the groups walk through the forest they meet soothsayers who direct them (for a fee) to the ropes course. After completing a full day of outdoor activities the clues direct them back to the picnic/camping area. By this time they should have bought potions and collected enough information to find the key which will unlock the box. Some mixing and magic and the Guardian of the Forest wakes up.
